study Tour
Students enjoy international media experiences at Department of International Communication.
A study tour to Guangzhou, China is part of the unit requirements of ICOM826 Colloquium in Mass Communications (1). The Department of International Communication has an agreement with South China Normal University in supporting the study tour in Guangzhou. During the study tour, our students attended lectures on mass communication at SCNU; participated in video production process with SCNU MA students; befriended with SCNU students; visited China's National Teachers' Training Centre for Educational Technology, and cultural and educational museums. Students enrolled in the unit wrote: "Thank you very much for providing us with this experience. We had an amazing time in Guangzhou and learned a lot about Chinese media, education and culture. We will treasure this time in our minds and hearts for a lifetime."
